Short answers. The contracts are the long ones.
Is there an APY?
No. Active eggs share 80% of creator-tax revenue that the protocol actually collects that epoch. Quiet tape, quiet yolk.
What do eggs pay?
Dollars. The Yolk is USDG (Global Dollar). Trading $EGGLY / USDG funds it. Origin mint still costs $EGGLY and that $EGGLY goes to the Egg Vault.
Do new players pay yield to old players?
No. Origin $EGGLY goes to the Egg Vault. Recurring rewards come from trading tax, not from mint deposits.
Can I trade my eggs?
Not in V1. Eggs are soulbound so nest identity and reward accounting stay simple.
Why did my replication sit on Pending?
Dice reveal is async (usually 1–3s). If the keeper never reveals, refund after the on-chain delay (a few seconds on Robinhood testnet; about a minute on 12s blocks) and retry if that 15-minute wallet window is still open.
I minted 100 eggs. Why can't I replicate 100 times?
Replication is three Dice attempts per wallet per 15 minutes, not per egg. Origins also stay inactive until the next 30-minute epoch is settled — 100 fresh mints in this epoch still means 0 active eggs until then. After they activate, tap Replicate on one parent. The nest shows pending, then hit (new egg # and tier) or miss.
Why is life still 12/12?
Aging is epoch settlement, not Replicate. Eggs born in epoch N first lose life when epoch N+1 is settled (12 cycles × 30 min). If you only settled once or have not waited that next 30 minutes, 12/12 is expected. The nest Life tooltip repeats this.
I rolled Dice six times and always missed. Is chance 0?
Chance uses reward-active eggs only — 25% at 1 active, up to 70% with a large active nest. Fresh mints this epoch do not count. The nest shows Your roll chance X% and rolls left this 15-minute window. Six misses at 35% (5 active) is unlucky but possible; at 70% it would be a bug.
Why are all my minted eggs NORMAL?
That is the rule, not a bug. Origin mint always creates NORMAL. Higher tiers only appear when a successful replication rolls the child's tier.
I minted a second before epoch end. Do I take the pool?
No. Origin and replicated eggs become reward-active next epoch.
What happens when everything cracks?
The nest is empty. Mint a new Origin Egg. Price may be lower after a population crash.
Who can pause the game?
Owner (intended: multisig) can pause mint and replicate. They cannot steal claimable yolk, delete eggs, or mint free high-tier eggs.
